Location Information

Stechelberg is located deep in the Berner Oberland at the end of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, also known as the ‘Valley of Waterfalls’, above Interlaken. It sits at the base of the Jungfrau Mountain to the east and the Schilthorn on the west, with the Mürren-Schilthorn ski area towering 2,100 meters above it. The alpine ski area has 54 km of runs for all levels of skiers and snowboarders topped by the panoramic Piz Gloria restaurant. The area also boasts 12 km of prepared cross-country skiing trails between Lauterbrunnen and Stechelberg, as well as winter walking trails around Mürren, and it has become a popular area for snowshoeing. There is even a 4 km toboggan run above Mürren. Activities abound for everyone! For those who wish to be less active, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy leisurely time in the sun.

Attire for this event is casual/functional, with a strong recommendation for good footwear (snow boots or hiking boots).
